Education:
A graduate of Metropolitan State University, Professor Kelley
holds a B.A. in Human Services Administration and a Masters in
Business Administration.

She teaches the MPNA Nonprofits and Social Change course
and an undergraduate Nonprofit Governance course.

Short Biography:
Cindy Murphy Kelley has worked in staff leadership positions
at four Twin Cities nonprofit organizations since 1987. She has
also served as board chair of two nonprofit organizations and
held two additional memberships on nonprofit boards acting as
treasurer and conference chair. A strong advocate, Ms. Kelley
has expertise working with government officials, social service
agencies and the Minnesota Legislature on diverse issues including
education for at-risk children and youth, adult homelessness,
early childhood education, and mental health services for adults.
Professor Kelley is currently the Executive Director of Chrysalis.
Chrysalis is a nonprofit, multi-services agency for women and
their families. Chrysalis operates four business units including
a mental health clinic, a chemical dependency treatment program,
a legal services program, and phone counseling and referrals.
