Education:
Dr. Krueger has a Masters Degree in Communications from the University
of Minnesota and a Doctorate in Public Administration from the
University of Southern California. In 2000 she published a book,
Analyzing the Development of the American Child Support System:
a Study in Social Policy Development.

Courses taught:
Professor Krueger teaches the PADM Policy and Planning course
for both graduates and under graduates.

Short Biography:
Dr. Ruth G. Krueger has worked for Dakota County in all aspects
of public welfare since 1977. She divides her time between organizational
management/development and public policy issues. In 1993 she did
an internship in the Department of Health and Human Services in
Washington DC where she worked with the Clinton Administration
on welfare reform. She has served on numerous committees and task
forces at the Minnesota Departments of Human Services and Children
Families and Learning. As a regional legislative chair, she worked
on legislative issues for Minnesota Social Services Association
(MSSA). Dr. Krueger is currently Co-Chair of the Minnesota Association
of Social Service Administrator’s (MACSSA) Legislative Committee
and coordinates legislative issues for Dakota County’s Community
Services Division. She is also on the board of the Minnesota Political
Science Association.
