Education:
Dr. Delmont is a graduate of St. John’s University, Collegeville,
Minnesota, where he earned a B.A. in sociology; he also holds
a B.S. in education, an M.A. in public administration, and a Ph.D.
in educational administration from the University of Minnesota.

Courses taught:
He teaches MPNA courses in Organizational Behavior and
an MPNA elective Topics course on Managerial Skills for Public
and Nonprofit Professionals.

Short Biography:
For nearly 20 years, Dr. Delmont has been an adjunct faculty
member in the College of Education and Human Development at the
University of Minnesota, where he has taught graduate courses
in educational planning and human resources administration. While
on leave from the University for four years, Dr. Delmont developed
and was director of the Master of Arts in Management Program for
Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. In this program, he
regularly taught graduate courses in strategic planning, budgeting,
and organizational culture and change.
Dr. Delmont is currently Director of the Center for Human Resource
Development (CHRD) in the University of Minnesota’s Office
of Human Resources. In the CHRD he directs education programs
and consulting services in the areas of leadership, management,
and career development, management systems and policies, and service
improvement. A management consultant to public agencies and educational
institutions, he specializes in strategic planning, change management,
and leadership development areas.
