Education:

Professor Reardon holds a Masters Degree in Leadership Development from Harvard University and a Master's Degree in Public Affairs form the University of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute. He has undergraduate degrees in psychology and economic/business administration from St. John’s University in Collegeville, Minnesota and international studies in Spanish and Liberation Theology from the Universidad Catolica in Lima, Peru.

He teaches an MPNA course on Collaboration and Systems Change and will be teaching a new elective course on Leadership in the Public and Nonprofit Sectors.

Short Biography:

Professor Reardon is currently the President of THE REARDON GROUP, a public affairs consulting firm with a mission dedicated to “Developing leaders for the passionate pursuit of results.” He is a member of the Public Strategies Group Network, which specializes in designing creative solutions for public organizations that want to delight their customers with outstanding service at reasonable prices. He is also a member of Full Circle Community Institute, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building community leadership through collective learning, personal reflection, and cross-cultural dialogue.

Professor Reardon has served as the Executive Director of the Alliance for Families and Children in Hennepin County, Minnesota from 1996-2001. The Alliance is a multi-sector partnership with seventeen school districts, Hennepin County, United Way agencies, and The University of Minnesota. He is a licensed social worker, has received awards for his dedicated work and commitment to support the success of children and families, and he serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities.
