2006-2007 Tuition Rates Set at Metropolitan State
Effective with Fall Semester 2006 courses, the per-credit cost
for graduate online Internet courses is $330.43. For graduate students,
a four-credit online course will cost $1321.72. The online Internet
course tuition rate applies to Minnesota residents and non-residents
alike.
The rate increases continue the trend being experienced in Minnesota
and across the nation of shifting more of the costs of higher education
to students. The online Internet course tuition rates also reflect
the relatively higher costs of training faculty to teach online
and develop online course sites. Increased tuition revenues from
the online Internet course rate will directly support development
and maintenance of the online programs at Metropolitan State.
Despite tuition increases and additional fees for online courses
at Metropolitan State, the total cost of our MPNA is still well
below what is charged for comparable public and private programs.
You are encouraged to make this comparison yourself and, if you
do, we feel confident that you will conclude that the MPNA delivers
very high value at a surprisingly affordable price. This high value
is reflected in the testimonials
you can read on our "alumni spotlight" page.
