Minnesota Council on Foundations - www.mcf.org

Founded in 1969, the Minnesota Council on Foundations is a regional membership association of grantmakers working to improve the health and vitality of our communities. The Council's membership includes family and other private foundations, community and other public foundations, and corporate foundations and giving programs.

The Bush Foundation was created in 1953 to encourage and promote charitable, scientific, literary, and educational efforts. To enhance the quality of life in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota, the Foundation has provided grants and fellowships, totaling over $600 million since its founding, to support the work of nonprofit organizations and the professional development of individuals.

The McKnight Foundation is a private philanthropic organization founded in Minnesota in 1953 by William L. McKnight and his wife, Maude L. McKnight.
